Louise Arnett passed from this life into eternal life with our Lord, on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 81 years of age.. She was born Louise Meredith Terrill to parents G.W. Terrill and Jessie B Terrill on April 5, 1930 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Louise was a graduate of Will Rogers High School class of 1948. She was a secretary to the credit manager at Mid-Continent Oil Company until she met the "love of her life and soul mate", Bill Arnett. They married on August 17, 1950 and began a love affair that would last over 60 years. Bill and Louise Arnett took over the management and ownership of the family business, Tulsa Greenhouse. Tulsa Greenhouse was a mainstay in the Tulsa economy for over 85 years. The Arnetts were proud of their growing business that included four retail shops and 3 wholesale houses and a growing facility. Louise became an integral part of the business working side by side with her husband, however when asked what her biggest accomplishment was, she would reply, "My four daughters and their families!" . Louise is survived by husband, Bill Arnett of Grand Lake, daughters, Pam Morgan, husband Bob of Plano, Texas, Cindi Hemm, husband Jeff of Broken Arrow, Kim Hull, husband Tom of Broken Arrow, Patty Gambill, husband Brad of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She was a "lover of babies" and our family had many for her to love, including 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was noted for her great sense of humor, wonderful laugh and a love of all holidays.
A memorial service will be held at Yale Ave. Christian Church at 36th & Yale on May 3 @ 3:00 p.m. Visitation with the famly will follow the service at the church. Private family graveside at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Collinsville, Oklahoma.
