Everett Ellsworth Lush was born May 20, 1919 in Weedsport, New York the son of Elihu Perry and Blanche L. (Carr) Lush. He completed this life on Thursday, September 6, 2012 in the Claremore Veterans Center in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 93.
Everett served in the U.S. Navy from June 27, 1939 until his honorable discharge as a Coxswain (3rd Class Petty Officer) on June 26, 1942. He was on board the U.S.S. Helena in Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attacked. He retired from American Airlines after 33 years where he was an airline mechanic.
Everett was preceded in death by both of his wives, Frankie Mae (Steeley) Lush and Aleen Gean Harrison Lush. He is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Deisering of Waterloo, New York as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery with the Rev. Dick Bland officiating.
