Mom I love you so, so much and I know you only wished for the best for us... you will forever be missed and loved until the day I die ❤️
Your love affected so many, and yet there was nothing we could do to show how much you meant to us- no matter how hard we tried. Suicide is a crippling disease that slowly took its reigns on you and if I had to send a message to the world it is this: love yourself. No matter what you’re going through, how depressed you are, or how little you have, life is a blessing. Reach out to others for support and never let your mind convince you that you’re better off not here or you’re a burden to others because you’re not. Only when you make the decision to end your life do you truly become the burden you once sought to not be.

Darci will never be forgotten. I found out since her untimely death exactly how many people she had a place in their heart. The love and caring shown has been extremely helpful in getting us thru this devastating loss. We would like to thank everyone for their kind words, prayers, and contributions towards Tanner's college fund (details are in her obituary). Her absolute goal in life was to make sure Tanner had what he needed to be successful in his life. She would be so happy to hear what her friends and family have done to make her dream a reality. The shock of the finality is simply too much to put in words. It is so difficult to understand depression and what it does in your mind. However, I know she is no longer in pain and is the loving arms of God. Her peace gives us some peace, but her death will never truly be understood. Help us to treasure the good memories, remember her smile and caring ways, and share your stories, pictures and thoughts here on this website. Let everyone remember the Darci we all loved. We will miss you Dar and will never forget you. There will never be another that could give as much as you gave us in your short life. We love you and you'll never be far from our hearts.

Dear Darci's Family, I am still so shocked from the news of Darci's passing. I hope you all are finding comfort from Gdo. Daric was a friend since Grissom. In junior high we were in a the same carpool going to Pink Barn together. Last year when she signed up on the Tulsa Memorial Charger website I wrote to her but she never responded. I was sad but I just chalked it up to 30 years later thing. I wished I had tried harder. God Bless all of you. Renee Austin Davis

I cherish the memory of your daughter, my dear friend. We worked together, shared laughter, shared our concept of the beauty of nature and the wonders of life. We shared a many story of how our parents so blessed and loved us. She hoped she could be as good a parent as her parents had been to her - She was so proud of Tanner and loved her son very much, please don't let him forget! Please tell him she is still with him just as she has been since the day of his birth.

I just found out about Darci's passing and I am heartbroken. Darci and I were dear friends in high school and roommates our freshman year at OU. She was one of the kindest, sweetest, most gentle people I've ever met. She had the most beautiful eyes and a radiant smile. I will pray that God will give you great comfort at this time of loss. We are praying for your family, especially for Darci's son, Tanner. We have such fond memories of Darci in college--especially in the dorm as my suite mate. I also went to Memorial with Darci. She was always kind, sweet and funny. She sat behind me in Algebra II and we were so confused together! It was nice to see her at the reunion last year and I was glad she was doing great! I'm sorry for her passing, but so glad I had the chance to see her "all grown up." My condolences to her family.

I am so very saddened by the news of Darci's passing. I have wonderful memories of Darci, especially when we were in elementary school. My sister, Maria, and I would go to Darci's house and play with Darci and her sisters. We always had a great time together! Darci was one of the sweetest girls I ever met! Although I know Darci is in a better place; she will be greatly missed! Praying the Lord's "comfort and peace" to encompass Darci's family. God Bless, Claudia Lugo Sweeney

I was a fellow classmate at Thoreau Jr. High and Memorial High school. Although I don't remember if we had many classes together, I do remember Darci. I remember her as very sweet and kind to all. She had an "adorable smile" as I remember. I'm so sorry for her passing and wonder "how" and "why". God bless all of Darci's family during this very difficult time.
