Henry Floyd “Hank” Winecuff was born October 29, 1926 in Lena, WI to Herman & Pauline (Murach) Winecuff and passed from this life May 7, 2014 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 87.
Hank served in the United States Army Air Forces in World War II. Hank moved to Oklahoma with his wife and children in the late 1970’s. Hank was a long time employee of Omstead Service Company beginning his career with them in 1979 and was a senior technician with them at the time of his death. Hank was a member of The Road on Sheridan for the past 8 years.
Preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Geraldine (Howard) Winecuff he is survived by his sister, Doris Brasure of Flint, MI; his daughter, Marlene Stevens and her husband Everett of Claremore, OK; his sons, Ian Hawk of Seattle, WA; Gerald Goodin of Tulsa, OK; Michael Winecuff and Teresa of Tulsa, OK; his daughter-in-law, Chris Goodin of Claremore, OK; his grandchildren, Amber Garcia and her husband Enrique, Brian Goodin and his wife Brittany; his great grandchildren, Gabriella & Alyssa Garcia and Kadence Goodin.
Hank will lie in state 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at The Road on Sheridan, 1324 N. Sheridan Road. Burial with military honors performed by the VFW District 5 Honor Squad will take place 12:00 p.m. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, OK.
