Obituary of Carl Hunt Phillips, Jr.

Carl Hunt “Bud” Phillips, Jr. was born on September 30, 1946 in Cushing, OK to Carl H. Phillips and Norma (Ramsey) Phillips. Bud passed from this life, at the age of 68, on Friday, November 7, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. After high school, Bud entered the U.S. Air Force and did his duty in Viet Nam. After his honorable discharge and receiving two Presidential Citations Bud attained his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later became a counselor for 12 & 12 in Tulsa. He is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home; his sons and daughters-in-law, John and Michelle Phillips and Daniel and Heather Phillips, all of Newalla, OK; a brother, John David Phillips of Australia; his former wife, Kathleen Phillips of Newalla, OK and seven grandchildren.
