Obituary of Jack C. Meek

Jack C. Meek, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015. He is survived by Mona, his wife of 57 years, and five children: Mary, Butch, Jacki, Jaymie and Carmen, his brother James, as well as 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Ella Mae Meek and one great grandson. Jack was a military veteran, serving his country on the USS Pickaway. He was an avid tennis player and lifelong car enthusiast and enjoyed his annual Navy reunion with his shipmates. Jack graduated from the University of Tulsa and spent his career as an executive in the oil and gas industry. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1109 E. 6th Street, Tulsa, OK 74120. Visitation will be held on Monday at 6:00 pm-8:00 pm in the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. in the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
