Obituary of Geraldine Jones

Norma Geraldine Jones was born to Arthur & Lena (McDaniel) Dickman on March 2, 1920 in Kansas City, MO and passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at the age of 92. Geraldine grew up in Billings, OK with her one sister, Clare Gene. After attending Tonkawa Jr. College and Oklahoma A & M she was married to Lonnie Charles Jones on October 3, 1942. She was a devoted wife and mother as they raised their three children; Don, Linda and Vicki in Oklahoma. She enjoyed being a great homemaker. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Clara Gene & Elton Rose of Tulsa, OK; her son and daughter-in-law, Don & Vicki Jones of Tulsa, OK; her daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Tom Pogue of Tulsa, OK; and her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki & Scott Laverde of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Stacy Reding and husband John of Aledo, TX; Jeff Jones of Phoenix, AZ; Chris Laverde of Dallas, TX; Brent Laverde of Dallas, TX; Jason Pogue of Tulsa, OK; and Lauren Pogue of Tulsa, OK; her great grandchildren, Sara, Nathan, Abby & Ava Reding of Aledo, TX. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Tulsa Meals on Wheels program or the American Heart Association.
