Obituary of Regina Mae McCondichie

Regina Mae McCondichie was born March 30, 1944 in Tulsa, OK to Arthur J. & Eldoris Mae (Ector) McCondichie and passed from this life March 11, 2015 at the age of 70.
Regina was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Herbert A. McCondichie and Elbor E. McCondichie. She is survived by her brother, Richard D. McCondichie and his wife, Carolyn and her sister, Doris J. Fields.
Regina was educated in Tulsa Public Schools and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1962. She attended Central State College in Edmond, OK where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Her teaching career began in Tulsa Public Schools as a Library Science educator until her retirement in 1997.
Regina was a faithful member of First Baptist Church North Tulsa. She sang in the Major S. Latimer Chorale, Carrie B. Neeley Guild Annual Hallelujah Chorus and the Chancel Choir. She was the Vacation Bible School director, chair of the Church Beautification Committee and a member of the Jobie Holderness Mission Circle.
Regina was affiliated with the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, the National and Oklahoma Education Association and Tulsa Classroom Teachers Association.
Regina will lie in state 10-8 p.m. Friday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapeland her funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of North Tulsa, 1414 N. Greenwood. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery, Tulsa, OK.
