The McCullough Family/Neighbor posted a condolence

17 years ago, our family moved into this neighborhood. Mr Cunningham would always be out and about and would frequently talk to us. Mrs. Cunningham acquired a precious nickname from our then, two-year-old, 'Mrs. Honey Ham.' To this day, we call her that. Will miss her spunk, always out trying to do things she shouldn't have been doing in her yard. Some of the time, we would run over to offer help but most of the time, we would just see the tail end of her going back into her house, after she had drug her trash cans out to the curb, picked up sticks in her yard or weeded her flower beds. We could always tell she was very particular about the way her yard looked and always tried to get out and do everything herself. We will miss her kind, sweet-hearted nature. See you soon Mrs. Honey Ham!

P.S. I would have attended her service but did not find out about her passing until about noon today, March 31, 2015.

I did not know Theda, but I do know her granddaughter, Lori. The greatest legacy a person can leave in this world is the love and care for others; the influence that they have on the ones around them.I know that Theda leaves a wonderful legacy in the honesty and kindness that I see in her granddaughter Lori.
May God's angels surround Theda with their wings and carry her to a peaceful eternity. There is a large comfortable rocking chair waiting for her with a garden that always blooms.
Rose Turner.

Theda Cunningham and her late husband, Jacques, have and always will be, part of my family. They both watched me grow up. Due, in great part, to their guidance and support, I was promoted to the position of Port Director succeeding Jacques, one that I have held since July 1984. Over the years we shared a lot of antidotes they encountered over their respective careers and later I contributed a few of my own.
Theda was one of the most caring people to ever come into my life. Unless it was positive, she did not comment on people or events. A lesson most of us should remember and follow.
To her family and friends, I offer my heartfelt sympathy. To Theda, "you lived a blessed life and as befitting of you, you have now crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to join Jacques, Jack Story, Harley and Laura Ladd, Eddie Morris, Wayne and Marie Ferguson and so many other of your fine friends". Farewell my friend--until we again meet!
Bob
