Obituary of Juanita Daryle Holliday Knight

Please share a memory of Juanita to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Juanita Daryle Holliday Knight, 94, of Oklahoma City, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 5, 2015. The daughter of Frank Curlis and Leona May (Oden) Curlis was born on January 18, 1921 in Liberty, Kansas. She married Earl Eugene Holliday on August 20, 1939. Juanita and Earl were blessed with four children, Ronald Eugene, Barbara Ann, Earl Edward, and Mary Margaret. After Holliday passed away after 29 years of marriage, she married Johnny Joe Knight on November 11, 1968 and they were married 20 years when Johnny passed away. Juanita raised her family while working at the draft board and later moved into mortgage banking until her retirement at age 65. Juanita enjoyed watching any sport, but she enjoyed football the most. The most important thing in Juanita's life was her family; she was a fabulous caregiver to many of her family. Juanita spent her whole life thinking of others, never herself. The legacy she will pass down is her contentedness in all situations. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; two husbands, Earl Eugene Holliday and Johnny Joe Knight; 3 children, Ronald Eugene Holliday, Earl Edward Holliday and his wife Judy Ann Holliday, and Mary Margaret Holliday Mullins, and her husband Bert Mullins, and a great-great granddaughter, Madeline Parker Higgins. Juanita is survived by one daughter, Barbara Ann McGallion and her husband Bruce McGallion of Silsbee, Texas; daughter-in-law Wilma Holliday of Arlington, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great grandchildren. Service 2:00 P.M. Thursday Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
