I always liked Bette and my mom (Minnie) thought highly of her! Bette was always very nice and cordial to me. She was a very intelligent lady with a pretty smile! I didn't spend a lot of time with Bette and her family but enjoyed talking with them and hearing about the places they had traveled. We will always appreciate Bette's kindness to Nick's Mother, Opal, after we had to move to Golden, Colorado, for business reasons in 1986. We last saw Bette and the Ivey Family at Opal's funeral in 1995, and we have thought of Bette and her Family frequently in the years since. We know she will be missed - God Bless Her.
