Barbara and Shane,
Robert fought his situation to the very end. You both did all you could for him and he knew that.
We might not have been on the same side of the "political fence", but we could always count on his wicked sense of humor for some lively conversations. As a good neighbor, he helped us out on numerous occasions. He was a person of great character.
We will miss him very much. You both are in our thoughts and prayers.
