Oh, my, how I've dreaded this time. But, it does force me to reflect on all the good times I've shared with Roy and his family over the years. With a friendship spanning over 50 years, we have more history between us than most friends can boast of. I naturally reflect on the professional involvements we shared, being involved in presenting the multitude of public events to our city. Then, my mind travels back to the fun our families had over the years from digging for salt-crystals, camping the many weekends at the lake, and on and on. Roy should also be remembered for having the will to overcome so many personal challenges which came his way. You did well, my friend. Now, a time to rest. You will be missed. God bless your soul, and your entire family.
