My deepest condolences to her family. I drove for The Lift and ofteb drove her to her dialysis treatments! She always was a joy to have on the bus. We had some deep conversation! Im so happy she no longer suffering...UNTIL THEN my friend!

I have known Violetta since early elementary school. We grew up in the same church and I truly know that she is at peace with the Lord. We will truly miss her but we know she is now free of pain. I send my condolences to her children, grandchildren,sisters and brothers for she was truly loved by all.

She made it over and I know she's glad. Sitting around the throne talking to everybody. In Bible Study one night she told about a problem she was having with a company. She said "I told the Lord to go ahead of me and make a way." I've used that every time I faced any obstacle. May the Lord rest her soul.

Mrs. Violetta Smith will be greatly missed at the Ben Washington Baptist Church. Her sweet spirit & smile, will be missed. I'm glad I was able to give her a hug, the last Sunday she was at church, just a few weeks ago. May God surround Sis. Tia, Armonde, Stephen, Sydney, and the rest of the family with strength, peace, comfort, and lots of prayers. God Bless!
