My heart breaks for the loss of such a wonderful man who accomplished such great things and touched so many hearts and lives. His legacy will live on for many generations to come and he will forever be in our hearts. I pray Bobby and the rest of the family can find comfort in knowing that so many people admired Mr. Parker and will never forget him or everything he did to help others. A truly kind soul who everyone had the greatest respect for. May he rest in peace with our Lord until you meet him again.
Deepest sympathies,

Mr Parker was truly a great man and I am saddened at his passing, but rejoicing in his home going as he is in the presence of the Lord. I have not known a more generous and loving man and have been the recipient of his generosity many times. I and my family are truly thankful to have known this great man. R. Sutliff

Dear Bobby, Debi and your family,
As I have told many people, your father was one of the finest, most remarkable and truly great man that I have ever known. I am pretty sure you are hearing this a lot and that is because it is true.
I will always be thankful that he gave me an opportunity to work at Parker Drilling and my years there formed in great measure the man I am today. The good parts anyway..
I am also grateful that when I did move on your father treated me so graciously and it was one of the real treats when on occasion we could meet, have lunch and hear about his latest escapades and adventures. Your father's relish of going into the unknown continues to inspire me and will inspire me the rest of my life. He was a truly courageous man.
You all know this better than me, so please allow me to offer my condolences to you, and as I see, a host of others.
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you all.
Garth

Mr. Parker was one of the finest gentleman that I have every known. His leadership has set the bar at the highest level. I'm thankful to have known such a man. As quoted from Ralph W. Emerson:
Great men are they who see that spiritual is stronger than any material force - that thoughts rule the world.
May you rest in peace Mr. Parker for your work is done here on earth. God has now got an angel in Heaven that has served Him throughout his life.
I will miss but not forget you and for all that you have done for this old driller...
I pray for your family and comfort in knowing that you have gone to Eternal Peace.

I received this sad news from my former colleagues at Parker Drilling. It was a true honour and a real privilege to have been a part of the Parker Drilling international family while Mr. Parker was leading the company. A true leader, true visionary and inspirational when it mattered the most. My condolences to Bobby and the other members of the Parker family.

From, Garth, Tammy and Sons (Pickard),
To The Parker Family,
Our family sends our sincerest condolences to Uncle Bob's Family. We always so enjoyed our many times together with Uncle Bob. He was a lot of fun and always had great stories to tell us. He was a great man and for my husband Garth, one to be looked up to always. Bob was a great mentor and friend to Garth during his many business years working for Parker Drilling Co. For that Garth is truly grateful for the great opportunity that your father's company gave him. The learning, working and experience that it has afforded him has been so invaluable to him many times over. Garth will always appreciate and will always have fond memories of working for Bob Sr. As his niece,I will always treasure our special times together with Uncle Bob as will all of my family too. May the Lord comfort and bless you all in Christ.
Love to you all in Him,
Tammy, Garth, Adam, Josh and Andrew Pickard
