What a remarkable woman of God and great friend, confidante, mentor, big sister, and sister in the Lord. I only now learned of her passing as I saw her obituary posting when I "Googled" her name to make contact with her.
Kim, Toni, and family, my heart goes out to you. I knew Deanna at first through work, then as a friend and neighbor. She taught me so much through the years, but what I will always remember most is our deep conversations, the sharing of our faith, and how in all things Deanna had a zest for life and for her Savior. After I moved away 17 years ago, we would still stay in touch as time would permit, and for many years shared an occasional meal, a quick visit, and would catch up.
Heaven gained an angel, but she will be so missed.
