I wanted to add that he was always talking about his daughters Karen and Sherry(Cheryl) and his grandson and Nancy. He loved all of his family very much, and his family was very close to his heart. I went by the house today and just found out of his passing. Again he will be missed, Chris.

I constructed Ken's addition to his home in 2006/2007. During lunch he would tell me stories of his life as a servicemen traveling all over the world. He quickly became a friend, and I will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with Karen and his family. Chris

Dear Bode family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Kennett. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.

The neighbors, most have lived within the same neighborhood for over sixty years. We (as kids) have been blessed with a neighborhood that simply never went anywhere. We all grew up with all these people watching over us as if we were their own. Couldn't ask for a better group of neighbors.
