Frances (Stockton) Camblin was born March 5, 1926 in Monett, MO to Ira James & Edith (Turner) Stockton and passed from this life February 12, 2017 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 90.
Graduating from Monett High School she married Laurence C. Camblin, Jr. in August 1946 and raised her beloved family. Upon her husband’s death in June of 1971, she assumed responsibility of Pro-Finer Chemical Corporation where she was instrumental in day-to-day operations until shortly before her own passing. Her greatest joy was being a mother and a grandmother. She loved, adored and invested in each family member’s life. She enjoyed bowling and fishing. A large impact on the lives of all who knew her she will be greatly missed.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Laurence C. Camblin, Jr.; her siblings, Lavern, James and Nola Mae. She is survived by her children, Laurence C. Camblin, III, Phillip E. Camblin, Kenneth J. Camblin, Kimberley A. Camblin and Kelly A. Ganner (Roger); her siblings, Betty Lowery (Ray), Virginia Lay and Carl Stockton (Gillian); her grandchildren, Jacob R. Snow, Joshua D. Snow, Austin D. Snow, Hayden N. Bosworth and Anthony C. Smith; and her great grandchildren, Katelyn M. Snow, Jessica L. Snow, Natalie E. Snow, Fiona T. Snow, Emma M. Snow, Kellan G. Bosworth and a host of nieces and nephews
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Calvary Cemetery Chapel.
