Dear Peggy and family,
As a former high school classmate of Stead, I remember him so well. He was a stand out, kind, thoughtful, and rather witty. Stead was also an excellent athlete and all-around nice guy.
While it saddens me to hear that you all lost him so early, it is comforting to know that Stead had such a wonderful family with whom to share his life. I am sure that you were the inspiration for his success.
