Ruby I. Breuer, 91, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Jefferson City passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at The Legends at Mingo Road.  She was born on October 14, 1925; a daughter of the late Morris Andrew and Ida Ann (Parry) Wycoff.  She was married to Coy L. Breuer on January 19, 1946 in St. James, Missouri, who preceded her in death after 51 years of marriage.

Ruby graduated from John F. Hodge High School in 1943.  She was a secretary for the Missouri State Senate from 1962 through 1965 before she began working as a secretary for the Presbyterian Synod from 1965 through 1970.  In 1971 she began working again for the Missouri State Senate as an administrative assistant until she retired in 1988. Ruby was a member of the First Christian Church of Jefferson City, where she was also a lifetime deacon; the Jefferson City China Painters and Study Group and past member, President and Vice President of the Professional Engineers Wives Club. Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family, including her church family.  She was an accomplished china painter and also enjoyed traveling and shopping.

Ruby is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Jean Breuer Lockhart and husband Donald of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sons: Randall Coy Breuer of Columbia and Rodney Kent Breuer and wife Donna of Little Rock, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Parry F. Wycoff, Lawrence A. Wycoff and Marvin E. Wycoff and one sister, Eunice M. Emory.

Friends will be received on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Houser Millard Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at  10:30 a.m. at Houser Millard Funeral Directors with Rev. Sarah Kingsbery officiating..  Entombment will follow in the Hawthorn Mausoleum.  Expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Christian Church.
