I just found out that Bob had passed away a year ago when I was checking the memory section of Ninde for the obituary of a second cousin of mine from my mother's side of the family when I discovered Bob's obituary. Needless to say, my wife, Marianne, and I were always fond of Bob. He was always friendly and a pleasant person to be around. He was a real gentleman of the highest caliber. As the husband of my cousin, Ann Stover, I had known Bob from the date of his marriage to Ann. We never lived in the same city, but we always kept in contact particularly at Christmas, special family get-togethers, and other special occasions. We stopped getting Christmas cards from him several years ago leading us to fear that his health had taken a bad turn. We kept our cards up for a couple more years until we moved to a new address in Arlington, Texas, after having downsized from a larger home that became too much for us to properly maintain. We wish to extend our condolences to Bob's children and other family members. They have the certain knowledge that Bob lived a good life in every respect and they surely can take comfort in that fact and in the fact that he was respected, loved, and admired by his many friends and family members.
