James Robert Daley was born January 7, 1952 in Tulsa, OK to Robert William & Mary Joan (Wimborough) Daley and passed from this life on December 12, 2017 at the age of 65.

Jim was born and raised in Tulsa. He went to the School of St. Mary and Bishop Kelley High School. His love of finding out how things worked led him to electronics and then to the world of computers.  He  earned a Bachelor degree in Computer Science at Central State University in 1979.  He worked many years installing security and alarm systems, and was a Computer Aided Draftsman at Wenco Energy at the time of his death.

Jim loved photography and music. He enjoyed Science Fiction, especially the worlds of Star Trek and Star Wars. He enjoyed history and magazines such as Smithsonian, Discover, National Geographic, as well as Popular Science . Jim was adept at designing and building kites. The best day for him was flying his kites and then pizza with his friends. He had a wicked sense of humor, especially if punning was involved, and it usually was.

Preceded in death by his parents Jim is survived by his sisters and their husbands, Peggy & Dennis Fry and Nancy & Nick Cheper; his niece, Laura and her husband Randy Presley; their children, Piper, Pepper and Payne; and his aunt, Jean Carbonneau.
