Obituary of Bettye Branch

Bettye L. Branch was born June 10, 1930 in Spiro, OK to Carl A. and Lois E. (Gooch) Zachary. She lost her courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the age of 82. Bettye graduated from Hartford, Arkansas High School, where she met the love of her life, Raymond Branch. They were perfect soul mates and enjoyed 55 loving years together. She would not hesitate to let Dad, or anyone else, know what she thought. Those who knew and loved Bettye understood why Dad would say, "The redhead is on the warpath again!" She was devoted to her family and friends and was an accomplished china painter. She is now at peace in the hands of God. Bettye was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Raymond in 2003. She is survived by her two sons; Thomas R. Branch and his wife, LaVerne of Broken Arrow and Stephen E. Branch of Tulsa. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, February 18, 2013 at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery.
