Obituary of Freeda Lawhorn

Freeda Mae (Gobble) Lawhorn was born the first of six children on March 5, 1933 in Porter, OK to Herbert & Reba (Neal) Gobble and passed from this life on March 17, 2013 at the age of 80. Freeda is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years, Gene Lawhorn; her brothers, Bob Gobble of Wagoner, Jimmy Gobble of Wagoner and Larry Gobble of Wagoner; and her sisters, Wanda Clark of Wagoner and Mary Hamilton of Wichita. She is survived by her daughter Janie and husband Mike Miller of Talala; her sons Ken and his wife Kathy Spriggs of Owasso and Dan and his wife Patty Spriggs of Broken Arrow; her six grandchildren and their spouses, Brent & Lisa Miller of Collinsville, Melissa & Ray Roberts, Jr. of Collinsville, Larry & Shelly Spriggs of Owasso, Jason Spriggs of Tulsa, Dr. Bryan & Stacy Spriggs of Owasso and Kacy & Corey Oltmann of Oklahoma City; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Freeda began her medical career working at the Wagoner Hospital. After moving to Tulsa in 1964 she was employed by Dr. Gary Goforth whom she worked with for 24 years until retirement. She was a member of the Owasso Church of Christ and the Moose Lodge of Tulsa. She and her late husband enjoyed camping trips with travel club friends. Ninde Brookside Chapel ninde.com 918-742-5556
