I loved living behind the Broach family when we were young. David’s father built a ladder over the fence so his sisters and I could play without walking around the block. Also, helped when going to babysit. David you were such a great big brother, and I loved you as a brother also. I am so saddened by your passing. Praying for your family in this time of grief.

Dear Linda, Steve’s and my hearts go out to you. Steve worked with David over the many years of real estate development and held David in high esteem. Steve often commented to me during those years how much he enjoyed David because David was an “outside of the box thinker” PLUS David had a memorable wit! We hope you’re doing okay. Our hearts are with you.... debby and steve ganzkow

David Broach. Intelligent, tremendous sense of humor, and a fabulous compadre throughout our many adolescent adventures. A colorful character, who has provided a wealth of stories for decades.
I'm truly grateful that you had such a rich, full, happy life, surrounded by great friends, and loving family.
Thank you for leaving a lasting impression, and making all of us better people. You were one of a kind, David!
RIP, my friend. I'll miss you, and look forward to seeing you again.
Love You, Man,

I worked for David and the other partners at BSW for several years. I loved David’s obit because, if you knew him, all of his sense of humor was in his good bye. David was maddening in a good way, funny and caring. Linda was definitely his muse, rock and love.
Although, we lost touch over the last few years, I am sorry he is gone.

I met David Broach in the summer of 1968. David was the rush chairman for Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Because of David and others, I pledged Sig Ep and David was my Big Brother. David and I were both in the School of Architecture. There are many, many stories of the college exploits of David Broach. Some should be told with credit given. Others should be told with a drink and a laugh and a memory of one who taught us how to have fun and put life in perspective. David Broach was a friend to me as I began my life on my own. He was a unique individual who left his imprint on the people he touched. I stayed in touch with David for the first few years after college and then life carried us in different directions. With Facebook we reconnected a bit. I will always remember David Broach and tell his stories.

I worked with David before I graduated from OSU, at Daniel partnership. I remember how fun David was to work with. Like when I had a bottle of Diet Pepsi at my desk, and David used it as an ashtray (even tho I wasn’t finished with it. Yuk!
[People used to smoke at work - glad that changed. ]

Ray and I met David and Linda on a cruise to St Petersberg. Turned out these Oklahomans had a condo in our Chicago building. And mutual friends in DC. One degree of separation. They were great fun and we missed them when they moved back to Tulsa! Love and peace.

The many hours of fun and laughter we had at the Sig Ep house as we were able to listen in on the phone calls of other sororities and fraternities. We discovered a master panel in the basement and could monitor and even interact with them! Double dating was always a blast also as David would keep everybody laughing.

David was a dedicated member of the board of directors of the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa when I was Executive Director. He had such interesting perspectives, and we always had far-ranging conversations. I will miss his insights, which he always delivered with his own style of humor. God speed....

Traveling to Santa Fe New Mexico with Linda and David for several years was such fun. Sweet memories. David was one of those people who always made others comfortable and well. . . Feel good. A gentleman to say the very least. And quick witted. When I think of him, I smile.
