Obituary of Flora Lee Smith

Flora Lee (Simms) Smith was born August 14, 1928 in Coweta, OK to Manuel & Healon (Puckett) Simms and passed from this life on March 15, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 92. Flora is preceded in death by her parents; her children, Edward Perkins and Helen Smith; and her siblings, William Simms, Roberta Johnson, Dorothy Rivers and Manuel Simms, Jr. She is survived by her children, Arthur Smith, Wanda Brown Johnson, Elzora Littlejohn, Kent Smith, Melvin Smith, Eric Smith and Eugene Hackney; her siblings, Marva Jo Bohanon, Arbadine McCormick, Maxine Lee, Alfred Simms and Donald Simms; her grandchildren; and her great grandchildren. Flora will lie in state Thursday, March 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home and a graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 19 at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Sperry, OK.
