Obituary of Sgt. F. Scott Armstrong

Please share a memory of Sgt. F. Scott to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Franklin Scott Armstrong was born August 23, 1968 in Jacksonville, AR to Jim & Ruth Mae (Hazeslip) Armstrong and passed from this life on March 19, 2022 at the age of 53. Scott enjoyed soccer, college football, the love of reading as well as traveling around the world with the military, and taking small road trips just to be spontaneous. He enjoyed puzzles, making lamps, and was a paracord nut! He enjoyed making bracelets, key chains, lamp pulls, anything to work with his hands, and helping others. He went to college, received a BA in General History, and worked really hard for it. Had his health allowed we have no doubt he would have achieved his dream of becoming a History Professor. He was ever learning and loved sharing what he learned. Even in death he imparted what he had in donating his organs and saving 3 lives. Truly, his essence will live on. Preceded in death by his father, Scott is survived by his mother; his daughter, Miranda Anderson; his sister, Michelle Gorrell; his brother, JoMikeal Dawn Mugg; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26 at the Ninde Brookside Chapel, 3841 S. Peoria, Tulsa, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the GoFundMe set up to aid in final expenses his daughter will incur.
