Rachel Louise Emberton was born January 9, 1942 in Claremore, OK to Hickory & Gladys (Conrad) Starr and passed from this life on July 3, 2023 at the age of 81.

Rachel loved her Lord, Jesus Christ and served Him diligently.  She loved family, animals, and all things nature.  The impact she had on everyone she met has enriched them throughout their lifetimes.  Well done, Rachel.

Rachel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Joe Emberton; and her brother, Hickory Starr, Jr.  She is survived by her daughter, Jerri Lynn Emberton; her sons and daughter-in-laws, Dean & Donna Emberton; Wayne & Jenni Emberton and James Emberton; her half-sisters, Peggy Conrad and Kathy Holmes; her brother, Randall Starr; 6 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Rachel will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, at Osage Gardens in Skiatook, OK.
