I’ve tried ever since I heard Wilma had gone home to be with her Lord and Savior to find the words to convey what this little woman meant to me. I met her the first time she entered Rimrock doors and was there the last time she attended. She was the greatest lady always with a ready smile the moment she walked through the door. It has been a comfort to me after my mom passed just knowing Ms. Wilma was here whether she was at Kirby and Joy’s, or Regina’s, and after she moved into her apartment in Cleveland. I am ashamed that I did call her or text her every time I thought about her. If I had I’d have been on my phone every day. I will always remember her with love and never forget her. I will continue to cherish a purple bag she brought at a yard sale and gave to me to put my loose leaf purple notebook binder I used as my song book in.
