Bryce Ashley Gaden passed from this world March16, 2024. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 26th, 1973 at Saint Francis Hospital.
During his early childhood, Bryce’s family lived briefly in Wagoner, Weatherford, Seiling, and Hominy, before landing in Cleveland, Oklahoma. This is where Bryce spent his formative years. Here, he formed many of the friendships that would last his entire lifetime. He grew up playing football, basketball, baseball, and golf.
Bryce was everyone’s “Chubby Buddy.” But for those who really knew him, he was a kind, dedicated friend who always wore a warm smile. Bryce could always be counted on to lend an ear or a hand to anyone who he thought may need it.
The family moved to Tulsa where Bryce attended Edison High School and Tulsa Vo-tech, where he studied vocational carpentry. He graduated in 1991.
After Graduation Bryce worked nights for UPS, then he worked on the maintenance crew at Ridge Park apartments. He spent several years setting up and operating CNC machines at a local shop. It was during this time that Bryce saved up enough money to buy and restore his dream car, a 1971 Ford Mustang Mach I which he kept for the rest of his life.
Bryce obtained his license and began a twenty-year career in real estate, as an appraiser. With his carpentry knowledge and his real estate acumen, Bryce began purchasing homes in his neighborhood near the University of Tulsa. He completely remodeled the homes and sold them to people who would then become his neighbors.
Throughout his life, he always enjoyed working on cars, riding motorcycles, water-skiing , camping, fishing, and the occasional snow skiing trip. It was not uncommon to find Bryce having a cold brew with his friends at his favorite hangout, the Buccaneer Bar.
Bryce is survived by his father, Dick Gaden and his wife Byrl, of Beggs Oklahoma, brother Roy Gaden and his wife Sherry, of Kingston, Oklahoma, brother John Gaden of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Two Nephews, Jake and Kale Gaden, his Aunt Tisha Dowe, Aunt Susie Dahle and his Uncle Curtis Cline. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Gaden Webb.
Bryce was cremated and will be placed at the feet of his beloved mother, at her final resting spot in Beggs, Oklahoma. Details of his memorial service will be shared in the days to come.
