He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ella Walden Fast, brother Grady Walden (Lisa), nephews Brian Walden (Olivia), Aaron Walden (Ashley), and Calbe Walden (Taylor).  His pride and joy were his Goddaughters, Yana Osmakova (Ben) and Yuta Osmakova (Jeff) and the grandchildren, Alexander Hooks, Ave Hooks and Amelia Hooks and his cousins, Jeff Farris, Brian Farris, Paul Farris, David Farris, Kathy Farris Young whom he called his brothers and sister.   He loved his family dearly and lived life to the fullest each and every day.  Dennis graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1973 and Peoria Barber School in 1975.  His favorite hobby was playing golf with the Senior Scramblers, enjoying a delicious cheeseburger with a chocolate milkshake.  It was also his delight to enjoy a good meal with family and friends.  During his early career, he toured with the gospel groups: Ambassadors, Rongys and the Arnolds.  His number one song was “Pearly Gates”.  He wrote several gospel songs that made it to News Top 80 Chart.  His second career was being a barber at the Quail Run Style Shop in Broken Arrow, and he ended his barber career as Dennis the Barber in Moultrie, GA after 33 years.  It was there that many customers became lifelong friends.  He retired in 2016 and moved to Tiger, GA.  In 2020 he was ready to move back to Oklahoma to be with his family.
