Obituary of Lucile McNutt

Lucile McNutt, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Monday evening, September 16 in Tulsa, OK. Lucile was born in Topeka, Kansas on May 29, 1926 to Harry and Edith Ashton. In 1930 the family moved to Tulsa. Lucile graduated from the Tulsa Central High School in 1944. In 1946 she married Jack Doss, had three children, and moved to Colorado, California, and back to Tulsa. Lucile worked and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.. In 1979 she married John McNutt. She was active in the At&T Pioneers and at the First United Methodist Church where she was a member for over 80 years. Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Edith Ashton, husband John McNutt, sister, Doris Ann Phillips and granddaughter, Rachel Gray. Lucile is survived by her sister, Lois Stiver of Tulsa, a brother Don Ashton and his wife Lynn of Tulsa, daughter, Jackie Wofford and husband Sam of Tulsa, sons, Randy Doss and wife Kathy of Tulsa, Jeff Doss and wife Lorelei of Chelsea, OK., 7 grandchildren, Chad Kruithof (Beth) of Denver, Eric Doss (Rachel) of Tulsa, Zachary Doss (Christie) of Tulsa, Nathan Kruithof (Marilyn) of Minot, North Dakota, Jay Kruithof of Tulsa, Adam Doss (Heidi) of Tulsa, Abigail Doss of Claremore, OK., thirteen great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Lucile's namae to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
