Obituary of John Brittain

John C. Brittain was born on February 3, 1943 in Miami, Oklahoma to J. Columbus and Anna Alice (Dartt) Brittain. After graduation from Miami High School he attended Northeastern Oklahoma College. After a his honorable discharge from the United States Navy, he returned to Oklahoma and attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma where he received his B.S. degree in engineering. He was associated with Lee C. Moore Company in Tulsa where he designed oil drilling equipment, on December 1, 2011 it marked his 38 years with the company. He is survived by his sisters, Janelle Damlouji of Laurell, Mississippi and Joan Metzger of Sperry. Three nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Ramond Brittain in August 2008.
