Obituary of Leslie Carroll

Leslie Eugene Carroll was born May 30, 1960 to Leola Brunson in Flomaton, AL and passed from this life surrounded by family and friends on December 10, 2013 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 53. Leslie served 15 years in the United States Navy on the USS Enterprise and the USS Virginia. He was a safety and compliance officer at Thorco Holdings LLC in Tulsa. He traveled throughout the United States impacting many people along the way. He sat on several committees that created rules and regulations for the Oil industry. Leslie loved to read, listen to Jazz, and play with his grandsons. Leslie was preceded in death by his mother and his beloved Aunt Katherine Stringfellow. He is survived by his wife, Toni Darlene (Davila) Carroll of the home; his daughters, Kelsey Pruitt and her husband Dustin, of Clarksville, AR, Sara Goss of Tulsa, OK and Wendy Myers and her husband, Jaime of Oxford, FL; his sons, Nic Carroll and his wife Melissa of Daphne, AL and Benjamin Goss and his wife, Diana of Tuscaloosa, AL; his sisters, Shari Carroll-Teasley and her husband, Larry and Sage Carroll; his grandchildren, Wade, Jackson, Cooper, Cheyenne, Shawn, and Savannah; and his close friends, Troy Stitt, Ray Thornhill Candice Wood, Shannon McDaniel, and Shelia Carroll. Leslie will lie in state 10-8pm Friday with family receiving friends from 5-7pm and his memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, both at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Family suggests donations in Leslie's name be made to either ALS Association at ALS.org or the Muscular Dystrophy Association at MDA.org.
