Obituary of Jeffrey Vogel

Jeffrey "Jeff" Vogel was born January 31, 1955 in Tulsa, OK to Joseph and Monica (Connolly) Vogel and the grandson of Dr. Joseph and Antonia Vogel of New Ulm, MN and James and Margaret (Mullin) Connolly of St. Paul, MN. He passed from this life Sunday, February 23, 2014 in Tulsa at the age of 59.
Jeff was a 1973 graduate of Tulsa Edison High School. He was a voracious reader who often read as many as five books at a time. Jeff had many varied interests and loved all types of sports. He had a particular love of auto racing and had been involved with the Sports Car Club of America for many years.
Jeff was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann Sisemore Vogel this past September.
He is survived by his sister, Toni Vogel Rizley of Tulsa (Bobby); brother, Tim Vogel of Tulsa; nephew, Connolly Rizley; nieces, Briana Rizley of Tulsa and Marianne Collins of Pryor, OK; aunt and uncle, Robert and Elizabeth Inserra of St. Paul, MN and numerous Inserra and Connolly cousins.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at St. John's Episcopal Church.
