Lela B. McPherron was born on May 21, 1927 in Henryetta, OK to Hamilton and Margaret (Bass) Smithee. Lela passed from this life on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the age of 86.
Lela worked for many years for NGL Supply Company serving the oil and gas industry as their bookkeeper.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Beverly McPherron and Sharon Siftar, both of Tulsa; 3 grandchildren, Dana L. Kurtz, Thomas E. Kurtz and Michele Nelson and a great-granddaughter, Sydney Piper Kurtz.
A memorial service to honor Lela will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Ninde Brookside Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
