Julius Breckenridge "Jack" Lane was born November 4, 1928 in Oklahoma City, OK to Lacy Leo Lane and Leopra Fay (Dew) Lane. Jack passed from this life on Monday, April 28, 2014 at the age of 85. Jack attended High School in Douglas, WY and Fort Smith, AR. He spent time with family members in Stigler, OK while attending Oklahoma A & M College studying Mechanical Engineering. Jack served honorably in the Army during the Korean War and was decorated with the Korean Service Medal with 2 bronze stars. He worked in the heating and air conditioning industry for many years and retired from Sigler Sales & Service after 30 years of service. Jack was an outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He went on many fishing trips with friends to Mexico to fish for bass. Jack is survived by his wife, Nerva of the home; a sister, Elaine Winkler and her husband, Jerry of Las Vegas, NV; brother-in-laws, Joe Utley and his wife, Janet of Tulsa, OK and Clark Utley and his wife Frieda of Checotah, OK; a sister-in-law, Shirley Utley, of Tulsa, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack will lie in state 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
