Obituary of Juanita Satterfield

Satterfield, Juanita E., was born March 17, 1915 Atwood, Oklahoma to William N. and Mary (Irwin) Wilkerson. She attended Oklahoma University and spent over forty years in the Tulsa real estate industry, most recently with Prudential Detrick Realtors. Juanita was a member of Boston Avenue United Methodist Church and the Friendly Sunday School Class. She was a member of P.E.O. and Tulsa REALTORS. Juanita was born on St. Patrick's Day and enjoyed a life-long love of anything Irish, green and festive. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Samuel Satterfield, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Janco Hawkins and her husband, Charles; her son, William Robert Satterfield; six grandsons: Steven Harris Janco and his fiancé, Margaret James; Jay Robert Janco and his wife, Paige; David Nathan Janco and his wife, Mia; Robert William Satterfield and his wife, Jessica; Ross Allen Hawkins and his wife, Hanah Emrich; and Richard Satterfield; three great-grandchildren, Luke and Jack Janco and Moravia Satterfield. Also surviving are her sister, Janice Wilkerson Mobley; niece, Jennifer Mobley Gaston and her husband, Brian and their three daughters, Whitney, Caroline and Paige; her nephew, Mark Reagan Mobley. Juanita will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church.
