Ila May (Newman) Starks, 76, died on Friday, April 13, 2007 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs. Starks was born July 19, 1930 in Madison, Kansas the daughter of David and Ethel May (Provo) Newman. She married Roy Lee Starks and he preceded her in death in December of 1982. They made their home in Alex and Chickasha, Oklahoma for many years. After his death, Mrs. Starks moved to Tulsa in 1989 where she worked for Beaver Express as a billing clerk. She is survived by her daughters: Glenda Killer of Glenpool, OK and Debra Aleene Lair of Prump, Nevada; her sons: Charles Lee Starks of Ft. Worth, Texas and Kenneth William Starks of Glenpool, OK; her brothers: Marvin Newman of Eldorado, Kansas and Larry Newman of Madison, Kansas; 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
