Obituary of Alfred Ladd

Alfred Wesley Ladd was born December 8, 1933 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas the son of Bemor and Victoria (Holiday) Ladd. He completed this life on Monday, January 9, 2012 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 78. Alfred was a truck driver for McMichael Cement Company where he retired after 29 years. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was united in marriage with Cleo Lucille McCarrell. He is survived by his wife, Cleo of the home; his daughters, Sandra Perkins, Christiane Ladd and Charmayne Pearson all of Tulsa, Linda Allen of California, and Glenda Davis of Oklahoma City; his sons, Alfred W. Ladd, Jr. of Tulsa and Billy Joe Ladd of Seattle, Washington; his sisters, Doris Holiday of Chicago, Irma Freeman, Linda Ann Holiday and Mirt Holiday all of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by a host of Grandchildren, great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debora Speed; his son, Moses Ladd; and his brother Sam Scales. A Home Going celebration will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 in the Ninde Brookside Chapel, 3841 S. Peoria with Chaplain Steve Griffin officiating.
