James Willard Collier, 67, passed from this life on Saturday, September 15, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Collier was born November 22, 1939 in Beggs, Oklahoma the son of Willie and Dollie (McGriff) Collier, Jr. He married Norma Joe McGee in 1971. He retired from the Tulsa Housing Authority where he had worked for many years. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Norma of the home; his son: Maurice Williams of Tulsa; his step-daughters: Terri Jones Rice and Tina Annette McGee Collier both of Tulsa; his sister: Willie Mae Tate; eight Grandchildren and two great Grandchildren. Friends may call at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home, 3841 S. Peoria on Thursday from 10am until 8pm for where he will lie slumber. Home Going service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday aat the First Baptist Church in Begga, OK (211 W. 1st Street) with the Rev. Maurice Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery near Mounds.
