Whitman, Charles "Chuck", 62, attorney, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2007. Born to Glenn and Marye (Dowlen) Whitman in Happy, Texas on March 5, 1945. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at All Souls Unitarian Church. Upon his graduation from Oklahoma Military Academy he entered the United States Air Force and served in Viet Nam. After his honorable discharge from the Air Force he graduated from Central State University. He then graduated from Tulsa University with a degree in law and practiced law for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife Terri of the home, brothers Glenn, Bud and Chris, stepchildren, Shawn and Stephanie, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
