Rachael Marie Deal, 40, passed away peacefully Nov. 2, 2007 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cervical cancer. Rachael was born April 24, 1967 in Tulsa, OK and lived in Midland Texas and Roswell New Mexico. The beloved daughter of Joe Deal and Mary Deal Vance, Rachael was preceded in death by her Father, Joe Deal. Rachael was a loving Mother and is survived by five "Gifts from God": Victoria and Aidan Haney and their father, Dr. Phil Haney, Rhett, Levi, and Keller Kent and their father, Kade Kent. Rachael is also survived by her family Mary Deal and Dennis Vance; Sisters: Rebecca and Steve Parkhurst, Ramona and Bill Gaddis, Ruth and Tom Perry, Robin and the late Eric Webb. Nieces and nephews: Scott and wife, Julie, Hannah and Laurel Parkhurst, Matt and Katie Gaddis, Alex, Andrea, and Wesley Perry. Rachael attended Monte Casino, and Memorial High School in Tulsa. She graduated with a BSBA, Major in Accounting, from the University of Tulsa in 1989. She was a Certified Public Accountant. In addition, Rachael was an avid horse enthusiast, and won the 1982 Division Champion Greater Oklahoma Hunter Jumper Horse Show. She was actively involved in the Horse Therapy Program for children with Cerebral Palsy in Roswell New Mexico. She was a gourmet cook and delighted family and friends with her culinary creations. Her greatest Love, besides her children and family, was her love for the Lord. Rachael was a faithful servant, and her unyielding faith during her battle with cancer was a witness to many. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all her family and friends. Private family services.
