Obituary of John Lorenz

John H. Lorenz 54, of Barnsdall, Oklahoma born on June 13, 1953 in Medicine Lodge, Kansas died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 after a 14 month battle with lung cancer. he fought this horrific disease with courage and faith. he was preceded in death by his parents Jean (Hubbard) Lorenz from Oklahoma City and Wilbur Lorenz of Tulsa. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Debra Lorenz of the home. His beautiful daughter Amy Addington and husband John of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, his wonderful son Adam Lorenz and wife Ambra of Catoosa, Oklahoma. His grandchildren that he loved so much, Tyler, Connor, Braden, Alivia and Corbin. His brothers, Steve Lorenz of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and David Lorenz of New Mexico, two step brothers Ron Robinson of California and Steve Robinson and wife Kathy of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, one stepsister Linda Mieir and husband Bob of Broken Arrow. His father and mother in law, John and Louise Gilbert of Oolagah, Oklahoma who were so special to him. Four nephews and two nieces and many wonderful family and friends. He grew up in Oklahoma City and moved to the Tulsa area in 1988. He was a professional truck driver until 1989. He then owned and operated Lorenz Paper Company until 1995. He was working for Arrow Concrete at the time he became ill. He had a real love for computers, and loved working on his land in Barnsdall. He will be remembered for his wonderful laugh and sense of humor. Memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Ninde Woodland Chapel. Ninde Woodland Chapel
