Grubbs, Helen Deloris, 92, of Tulsa, passed away, Sunday, April 6, 2008. She was born on July 9, 1915 in Salt Lake City, UT to Henry and Clara (Brunett) Bankston. She and her late husband, Robert Truitt Grubbs, owned and operated a Ben Franklin variety store for many years. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Truitt Grubbs and a sister, Marcile Bankston. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Tommy Appleby, of San Antonio, TX; 2 grandchildren, TJ Appleby, Jr and Jennifer Gonzalez and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 pm - 7 pm Tuesday Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Wednesday Calvary Cemetery Chapel.
