Clayton, Mary Ruth, born April 19, 1924 in Como, Tennessee to William Chanaught and Ruth Folsom Dunn Rodgers passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the age of 81 years. Over the next 20 years she devoted herself to family and church, raising their four children, Margaret, Beth, Jan and Carl. She returned to the University of Tulsa in 1966 to earn certification to become a teacher, and taught in the Tulsa Public Schools for many years. Mary Ruth's life journey was a Christian walk grounded in her great faith and love for our heavenly father and son. The reflections of her heart are imprinted on all who crossed her path.
