Edward Robert Reed, III, 68, died on Monday, May 26, 2008 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Mr. Reed was born September 13, 1939 in Meadville, Pennsylvania the son of Edward Robert Reed, Jr. and Betty Jane Metzger Reed. Mr. Reed sold commercial insurance for many years. He is survived by his daughter: Dawn Pollock of Broken Arrow, OK; his sons: Edward Robert Reed, IV of Tulsa, OK, John Patrick Reed and Michael Shannon Reed both of Las Vegas, NV; his sisters: Carol, Cathey, Jayne and Nancy; his brother: Jimmy Reed; eight Grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sister: Christine. Funeral service followed by cremation was held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2008 in the Ninde Brookside Chapel with Mr. Leonard Nickson officiating. A memorial service will be held in Las Vegas with Rev. Sharon Pajak officiating. The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of ones choice.
