Garland John Gaylor, 68, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 19, 2008 in Tulsa, OK. He was born January 11, 1940 in Pharr, Texas the son of W.T. and Nettie (Capps) Gaylor. On December 21, 1971 he married Theodoshia L. "Teddie" Brown who preceded him in death on June 7, 2008. He retired from Boeing Aircraft in 1997 after 25 years with the company. Garland is survived by his sister: Mrs. Mary Rose Paul of Tulsa; Brothers and Sisters in-law: Ross Brown and his wife Jeanie; Ralph Brown and his wife Esther; Margaret Gaylor and Flora Gaylor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his sisters: Sylvia Ellen Gaylor and Ina May Gaylor; his brothers: William Stanford Gaylor, Sylvester Charles Gaylor, Roy Lee Gaylor, Alvin Ward Gaylor, Louis Henry Gaylor, Lindy Hoover Gaylor and Earl George Gaylor. Friends may call at the funeral home for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until on Sunday. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 23rd in the Ninde Brookside Chapel . Interment will follow in the Rose HIll Cemetery.
