Obituary of Betty Walker

BETTY LOU (HOOSER) WALKER, age 70, a longtime resident of Sapulpa, passed away at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa on Friday, June 20, 2008. She was born on August 16, 1937 in Ward Springs, OK the second born to Rufus Clyde Hooser and Lahoma Fay Rose. She lived most of her young life in the Ward Springs, Ashland and Kiowa areas and graduated from Kiowa High School. Betty retired from Hillcrest Medical Center as an X-Ray Clerk. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, a brother, Bobby Lee Hooser and a sister, Rose Mary (Hooser) Phillips Sparks. She is survived by two sons, Estle Dale (Bo) Roach Jr. and his wife Rhonda, of Bristow, OK and Richard Lee Roach and his wife Bobbie Sue, of Okmulgee, OK; a sister, Arvella B. Hooser Gailey, of Bixby, OK and a brother Jimmy Dale Hooser, of McAlester, OK; 7 grandchildren: Sarah, Cody, Caitlin, Stephanie, Andrea, Katlin and Samantha and 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Service 10:00 A.M. Tuesday Ninde Brookside Chapel Tulsa. She will be interred at 2:30 P.M. in the Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, OK.
