Cole, Gwendolyn Marie (Evans), 57, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 22, 2005. Mrs. Cole was born November 11, 1948 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of John Lee and Velma L. (Jones) Evans, Sr.. She was united in marriage in 1964 in California to Henry Cole. She had moved to Tulsa recently and has been a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her mother Mrs. John (Velma Jones) Evans on January 7, 2005 and a brother Carlos J. Evans. She is survived by her husband of 41 years Henry of the home; her father John L. Evans, Sr. of Tulsa; her Daughters: Amanda M. Cole of Tulsa, OK, Helen M.D. Byrdsong, Renata D. Cole and Deana M. Cole all of Los Angeles, CA; Sons: Carlos A. Cole of Tulsa, OK, Mario O. Cole and Christopher E. Cole both of Los Angeles, CA; her sisters: Carmen Evans of Kansas City, MO, Linda Howard of Tulsa, OK, Rasu Lewis of Los Angeles, CA and Shallahmar Standefer of Kansas City, MO; Brothers: John L. Evans, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA, Windell Evans of Compton, CA and Ishmel Evans of Kansas City, MO; Fourteen Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.
